What are the eligibility criteria to be fulfilled – SSC GD Eligibility Criteria?

For applying in this recruitment, all the applicants will have to fulfill some eligibility criteria which are as follows –

Educational Qualifications

The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination
from a recognized Board/ University.
Candidates who have not acquired the essential educational qualification as
on the stipulated date will not be eligible and need not apply.

Age Limit

18-23 years as ,However, after relaxation of three (03) years in upper age, the candidate should not have
been born earlier than 02-01-1997 Etc..

Detailed Medical Examination (DME) What documents will be required for this?

All our applicants and candidates who will be selected will have to submit some documents for Detailed Medical Examination (DME) which are as follows –

Matriculation/ Secondary Examination Certificate to prove age,
name and educational qualification.
Domicile Certificate/ Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC)
issued by the competent authority.
Valid NCC Certificate, if applicable.
Certificate from serving defense personnel in the format
prescribed at Annexure-IV of the notice.
Undertaking in the format prescribed in Annexure-V from Ex Servicemen candidates.
Caste Certificate (as applicable) in the format prescribed at
Annexure-VI, Annexure-VII and Annexure-VIII of the notice
from the candidates seeking reservation/ age relaxation.
Certificate from candidates who wish to avail relaxation in
height/ chest measurement as prescribed in Annexure-IX of the notice.
Certificate from District Collector/ District Magistrate in respect
of dependent applicants of riot victims as mentioned in
category 04/ 05/ 06 under Para-5.1of the Notice.
Nativity/ Identity Certificate by West Pakistani Refugee in the
format prescribed at Annexure-XIII of the notice etc।

Physical Standards:

The physical standards for the SSC GD 2024 exam are as follows:

Male

Height: 170 cm
Chest: 80 cm (minimum expansion of 5 cm)
The weight of candidates should be proportionate to their height and age, as per the medical standards set for the SSC Constable GD 2024 recruitment.

Female

Height: 157 cm
The weight of candidates should be proportionate to their height and age, as per the medical standards set for the SSC Constable GD 2024 recruitment.

Candidates will be required to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Physical Standards Test (PST) as part of the selection process.

PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test):
